We’re proud to share that we held our first-ever Turkey Drive this year! The team at Russell Rowland feels strongly about giving back to the community, and we wanted to find a meaningful way to make a difference during the holiday season. That’s why in November, we collected turkeys to donate to the Mandarin Food Bank.
The Mandarin Food Bank is an incredible organization doing vital work in our community. Their mission is to provide emergency food and clothing to people in need in the Mandarin Community. Along with feeding families, they also offer duffle bags with essentials to migrant workers and host a Life Skills program that helps people build brighter futures.
We were overwhelmed by the generosity of our team! For every turkey donated by a team member, Russell Rowland matched it. Thanks to this collective effort, we were able to donate over 20 turkeys to the Mandarin Food Bank in time for Thanksgiving. The response was truly heartwarming, and seeing our team come together for such an important cause reminded us why giving back to our local community is a priority for us.
This was a great way to help people in less fortunate situations, especially during a year that has been challenging for so many. By working together, we made sure local families had food on their tables for Thanksgiving.
We’re constantly thankful for all that we have, and we’re already looking forward to making this an annual tradition!
