The team at Russell Rowland feels strongly about giving back to the community. That’s why from November 16 – 18, we collected turkeys for our annual Turkey Drive! For every turkey donated, we donated one as well. The turkeys were then delivered to the Mandarin Food Bank to help feed hungry families for Thanksgiving.
The Mandarin Food Bank’s mission is to provide emergency food and clothing to people in need in the Mandarin Community. Along with feeding families, they also offer duffle bags with essentials to migrant workers and host a Life Skills program.
We want to thank everyone who dropped off a turkey. Last year we donated a total of 22 turkeys. We’re happy to say that this year, we delivered 75 turkeys!
This was a great way to help people in less fortunate situations. It was amazing to see the community come together to ensure that local families had food on their tables for Thanksgiving. Thank you so much for your support!
